Our journal

This journal has been written by both of us during our journeys.  Generally one of us has written it and then the other one has proof read it.  Therefore, from time to time it appears that it has only been written by one of us.

What next, well for a start we are going to go through our entries, add pictures and then print the whole lot out into book format.

I am the an the manager of a charity with responsibility for fundraising, so I am thinking at the moment that I may offer the blog for sale for £5.00 - £7.50 to raise funds for the work that we do and to cover the cost of printing.

Now that I have found out how much I enjoy writing the blog, as opposed to just lurking in journals and making the odd comments, I shall have to think about what next to do.

I hope you enjoyed this.  I suspect our next travelog will be a few months away, although when I review my pictures of my 5 stays in New York whilst Bob has been on seconment I may start to make some comments

I followed you here through the link you left in my journal comments. Thank you for stopping by and visiting. I thought I would browse awhile, but I see that this is one that must be read from beginning to ending, so I will come back when I have some lengthy reading time, perhaps later on this evening. I just wanted to come by and tell you that I appreciate your visiting and leaving the link. I've always wanted to travel across my own country. We figured a month would be a good length of time to take a good chunk of USA in. Can't wait to read what you wrote about your travels. bea

Thanks for visiting my journal again Mary.  As for placing photos on your journal maybe if you go back to the AOL page where you first began your journal you might be able to add the album facilities using the advanced settings they suppy new journaler's with.  Failing that, set up a new one making sure you add the album facility this time and copy and paste over what you have written in this one.  Perhaps there is an easier way of doing it and someone else reading this will suggest it? Hope I have been of some help.   I'm looking forward to seeing your photos when you are able to post them.   Jeanie

Its nice to travel. You stopped by my journal and I appreciate your comments. Today my daughter took some pictures of a tornado that was not more than a half of a mile from her. THey went to Galveston Beach, in Texas. When ths sky started to darken she pulled the children out of the water and hit the road. She said it got worse as they fot farther away but she was driving and her hubby to be didnt have his contacts in and couldnt take pictures. Needless to say - they got out of dodge - the kids werent afraid, but they didnt tell mom to slow down either.

My husband and I love to travel. We havent been anyplace in a while. I'm glad you are enjoying your trip. I have never been to New York. Have a safe journey home. Roz BTW - I sell Avon Beauty Products and I can sell on line at www.youravon.com/rnaber if you or anyone else is interested. It is shipped directly to you for under $3 unless your order is $40 or more than it is free. http:/journals.aol.com/rznaber/your-naber-blog/

THank you for leaving your link when you commented in my journal this week. Now that I'm here, a first time visitor I believe, I would love to stay longer, but the hour is late. I can tell that you have seen more of my homeland than I have. I will come back and read your reactions and reflections to what you saw and heard along the way. I'm hoping that all was as grand as your journal title claims. Will be back, promise! bea

Bea, our tour was wonderful and we are still dining out on it.  We subjected my MIL to the around 4000 photos we took.

I am now trying to work out how to add photos to our log.  We met many people on our travels who were envious of the tour we took, and like yourself said we had seen much of America that they had not.  As well as our 5 week tour, during Bob's 6 month stay in New York we also visited Fort Lauderdale in Florida, Norfolk in Virginia, Bob also (without me) went to Troy in Michigan, Glens Falls in New York State, Dallas in Texas and Palo Alto in California.
